I was fortunate to be involved in one of Toronto's unique career conferences. Not only does it speak to what I believe in diversity, but it is also something that would make a difference to an immigrant kid like me. Blaxpo promotes biopic talents who are trying to break into the creative industries. It offers them a platform to connect with a network, and companies see the talent beyond skin colour. I've worked closely with the team to bring the manifesto into the merchandise.
